What we do
Cliff & Slope Stabilisation

The Central and Coastal North Island of New Zealand presents a range of challenges to District Councils and Engineers in the stabilisation of cliffs and gorges. Roading, public access and construction projects are often hampered by risks associated with rock and debris falls.
Industrial rope access systems provide a cost effective solution to these challenges and have become industry accepted, as best practise for geotechnical and cliff and slope stabilisation.
EDGEWORKS has provided solutions and performed specified works on exactly this terrain for a number of years.
Under your instruction or through our own Geotechical Engineer EDGEWORKS can achieve the stabilisation requirements for your project. This includes but is not limited to:
- - Unstable cliff removal,
- - Scaling of cliff faces,
- - Removal of significant rock formations,
- - “Draping” or curtain wire mesh installation,
- - Catch fence installation,
- - Drilling and grouting,
